Lindy Hop Dance Class Schedules

Lindy Hop is a type of Swing dance. Other types are Jive, East-Coast Swing, West-Coast Swing, Balboa, Jitterbug. If you are looking for Jive or other types of Latin-Ballroom lessons, click here.

Class descriptions:

• Swing/Lindy Hop Beginner 1: this is a beginner class for anyone who wants to learn the basics - no experience needed
• Swing/Lindy Hop Beginner 2: this class will build on all the fun and fabulous basics and includes Charleston
• Swing/Lindy Hop Beginner 3: continuation of level 2 - refines technique and connection and adds more complicated patterns
• Lindy Hop Intermediate: continuation of level 3 - focuses on dancing at faster tempos, blues and shines
• Lindy Hop Advanced: moves at a fast pace with syncopated patterns

Pre-registration is required by calling 416-598-4077. Print the registration form (click on "register here" for the desired class). Mail your form along with a cheque to the address on the form. You may also pay by cash or cheque at the Mad For Dance studio (whenever there are Tap or Swing/Lindy Hop classes held - call for confirmation).

The cost (taxes included) of the above 1.25-hour Lindy/Swing classes are:

• $70 / person for 7.5 hours over 6 weeks ($9.33/h)
  if paid by Jun 20
• $80 / person for 7.5 hours over 6 weeks ($10.67/h)
• Drop-in fee is $15 (please call before showing up)
• $130 for a 10-class pass (no expiry date)
