|
| Salsa level 1 |
This course is the same as Salsa-Nightclub level 1 except it is only 7 weeks and there is no Merengue or Bachata. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 2 |
Building on the figures you learned from level 1, we will turn our attention to cross-body lead variations (with the woman traveling from one side to the other, passing on the man's left side). A few additional Bachata figures are also taught. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 3 |
Now that you can dance the basic figures, we'll teach you traveling right-turn variations. We'll also introduce you to double spins--now you're having fun! A few additional Bachata figures are also taught. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 4 |
You're set to learn some interesting combinations now that you've mastered the first three levels. These include S-turns, lasso, spider and more cross-body variations. |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 5 |
Ready for some sexy dancing? It's time to learn the Coca-Cola variations and check variations. Put it all together and soon enough, you'll be the star of the dance floor! |
| Salsa-Nightclub level 6 |
This advanced class will focus on a variety of turn patterns, dips, tricks, shines and styling techniques to enhance your dancing. There will be a focus on musicality and dancing the turn patterns “On 2”. To attend this class you must have completed level 5 or successfully pass an assessment. |

The Toronto Dance ™ school currently has several locations.
Certain locations are used for certain classes. Please check the
current
schedule to determine which locations are used.

For Latin-Ballroom and Salsa-Nightclub group classes, the cancellation policy is as such:
Why is the policy so strict? First of all most dance studios never give a refund. Secondly all our classes get full 3-4 weeks before the start of class.
Once you've booked a private lesson, you must cancel by 2:00pm two business days before your lesson to avoid a cancellation charge. For example, if you lesson is booked on Sat, you must cancel by Thurs 2pm. If you cancel after the time limit or don't show up, you must pay a $25 cancellation charge. Even if you booked a lesson for the next day, it is too late to cancel so you are obligated to show up or pay $25.
Because of this policy, you must pay an additional $25 that will be used as credit toward your next/final lesson. If you decide not to continue with additional lessons, that $25 will be returned to you.
Since many of our students travel from outside Toronto every week, click here to check for expressway and major route closures before driving to your salsa-nightclub, latin-ballroom, lindy hop, and tap dance class/lesson. Click here to check Toronto traffic cameras. Also listen to AM 680 on the radio. Click here to check a live Toronto traffic report.
Luckily there are no planned road closures this winter 2007.
We are currently recommending the following practice sessions for Toronto Dance students. These are ideal for beginner dancers who have taken at least a few hours of dance classes. Please note, these are not lessons/classes but just a place to practice.
