GoodLife Fitness Eaton Centre

This is an aerobics room within a fitness centre in downtown Toronto. Toronto Dance conducts dance classes in Latin-Ballroom at this location.

Note: You can get to this location directly from the TTC subway without going outside. We teach in Group Exercise room (air-conditioning).

You don't need a GoodLife Fitness membership to enter the club as long as you are attending a Toronto Dance class and have signed the Participant Release Form. You must check in with the front desk and within the room each time.

Note: There are two GoodLife Fitness locations at Eaton Centre. The location used by Toronto Dance Inc. is near Dundas St. (north end), not the one near Queen St.


Building Location and Directions

The GoodLife Fitness is located in Eaton Centre (250 Yonge St), 5th floor, just south of Sears at Dundas St. If you get lost, you can call them at 416-408-4856.

Directions via TTC

You can get to GoodLife Fitness at Eaton Centre totally underground via TTC. Go to Dundas subway station. Go to Sears at Eaton Centre and go to the south end of the store.

Directions via Driving

Drive along Bay/Yonge St to Dundas St. For those driving from the Gardiner Expressway, exit to York St and continue north to University Ave. Or exit to Bay St northbound. Check below for parking suggestions.

Directions from outside Eaton Centre

Walk along Yonge St, just south of Dundas. On the west side of the street, there is a big entrance into Eaton Centre. If you use this entrance, turn left (south) and use the inside entrance (see below). You could continue south to another entrance into GoodLife Fitness. Once inside, there is an escalator (see picture below).

Take the escalator up and take the elevator to the 5th floor.

Directions from within Eaton Centre

From inside Eaton Centre, go to the south entrance of Sears. There is a large open hall. There is an entrance to 250 Yonge St (see picture below).

Enter the doors and take the elevator to the 5th floor.


Dance Hall

The Group Exercise room is located to the right of the reception desk.

Please bring a change of shoes especially if your shoes will be wet from snow or rain. You may also eat dinner at the restaurant within the Toronto Athletic Club.

After exiting the elevator, you will see the main reception area. Check your name off on a Toronto Dance attendance list at the counter.

The washrooms are in the changerooms.

To Group Exercise room

When exiting the elevators, go to the reception desk and check off your name on a Toronto Dance attendance list.

Turn right and go almost to the end and turn right.

Parking

There may be some street meter parking (north of Dundas) but they are harder to find.

There are various outdoor and indoor parking north of Dundas for a $6 flat rate.

There is a Green P parking at Dundas Square (Dundas, east of Yonge) at $2/30 mins, max $15 on Sun. Click here for a map and prices.
